Nigerians call out El-Rufai's son after he thanked God for the death sentence handed to a 22-year-old singer accused of blaspheming against Prophet Mohammed


Bashir El-Rufai, the son of Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai, thanked God for the death sentence handed to a 22-year-old singer in Kano and this has angered Nigerians.





Reacting to the news that Yahaya Sharif-Aminu has been sentenced to death by hanging for blasphemy, Bashir El-Rufai wrote: "Alhamdulillah."





"Alhamdulillah" means "praise be to God", sometimes translated as "thank God".
